UPDATED: Road Closures & Traffic Advisories for "Gilded Age” Filming

TROY, NY (June 4, 2021) – City officials have issued an updated traffic advisory for parking restrictions and road closures in downtown Troy associated with an ongoing film production. A map of impacted streets is available here.

Road closures and parking restrictions will remain in effect through Thursday, June 10th, for the following streets:

  • River Street, between 3rd Street and 1st Street

  • Broadway, between 3rd Street and River Street

  • 2nd Street, between State Street and River Street

  • 1st Street, between State Street and River Street

Parking restrictions remain in effect for the following streets:

  • 3rd Street, between Fulton Street and Broadway

Road closures and parking restrictions will be in effect for the following streets on Monday, June 7th:

  • 2nd Street, between Division and Congress Street

Parking restrictions will be in effect for the following streets beginning Monday, June 7th, at 6:00 am:

  • 1st Street, between Congress and Division Streets

  • Congress Street at corner of 2nd Street

Residents and businesses on impacted streets are reminded to observe all posted parking restrictions and traffic detours. Residences, businesses, restaurants, and shops located in and around the film production area remain open and accessible. There will be intermittent access to restricted areas during filming.

The Troy Waterfront Farmers Market (Saturday) and Make It Upstate Market (Sunday) will not be affected by the film production. Parking for these events will be available in the 5th Avenue, State Street, and Green Island Parking Lot. Parking in the privately-owned Uncle Sam Parking Garage will also be available for those events.

The City of Troy thanks the impacted residents and businesses for their patience, cooperation and assistance during the filming production process.

Parking

The Y-Lot Parking Lot remains closed for vehicle parking. Alternate parking arrangements have been established for impacted permit holders. Additional public parking is available for residents and merchants at the Russell Sage Lot, located at 1st and Congress Street.
